 | About CityBina Etawa is a town and a municipality in Sagar district in the state of Madhya Pradesh. Bina is a taluk headquarters town and second largest city of Sagar district after Sagar.Pollution free atmosphere, friendly hospitality of the local inhabitants and hygienic surroundings make Bina an ideal location for tourists. An Important Historic City Named Eran,which is known as the southern gate of bundelkhand is situated very near to the City. Bina is an important railway junction of West Central Railways and has its own importance in country's rail traffic.The station is on the Bhopal Jhansi rail route. It also connects Kota and Sagar-Katni. Bharat Oman Refineries Limited (BORL), a company promoted by Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. (BPCL) with equity participation from Oman Oil Company Limited (OOCL) has developed up a 6 MMTPA grass root refinery at Bina, District Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, India. with the investment of Rs. 12,500.00 Crores / USD 2,575.00 Million . Also a 5 x 250 MW Thermal Power plant By Jaypee Group is in progress. Beside this, The Area is also an important Agricultural Point. The Wheat produced here is exported even to other countries. |
 | प्राचीन एरणऐरण नामक ऐतिहासिक स्थान मध्य प्रदेश के सागर जिले में स्थित है। प्राच्हीन सिक्कों पर इसका नाम ऐरिकिण लिखा है। ऐरण में वाराह, विष्णु तथा नरसिंह मन्दिर स्थित हुए है। भू विन्यास में वाराह मन्दिर का गर्भ गृह एक मण्डप से युक्त था। छत सपाट रही होगी। विष्णु मन्दिर चार ऊँचे स्तम्भों पर आश्रित है, इसमें गंगा और यमुना को गर्भगृह द्वार में दिखाया गया है। नरसिंह मन्दिर भी भग्नावस्था में है। मुग़लों द्वारा निर्मित पथरीगड़-हसनगड किला जो बाद में खिंची शाशकों और मल्हार राव होल्कर के अंतर्गत रहा यहाँ स्तिथ है। तारण तरण मंदिर भी है। बीना से 45 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर स्तिथ है। |
